(DALLAS) Dallas residents who get vaccinated for COVID-19 with at least one dose from June 1 to July 23 are eligible to enter a raffle for gift cards for businesses such as Walmart, Target and Starbucks, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Those in the raffle also have the chance to win airline tickets and autographed Dallas Mavericks memorabilia.

“We’re hoping that the prospect of winning one of these prizes will get somebody who’s on the fence, or too busy, or whatever their reason was, to say, ‘You know what, I’ll go ahead and do it,’” Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson said.

The Dallas Foundation is partnering with the city for the raffle since the city cannot require proof of vaccination per state law, but the foundation can.

To enter the raffle, fill out this form or call the mayor’s office at 214-670-3301.

In addition to the raffle, the Dallas Regional Chamber is offering prizes like Southwest and American airlines and Dallas Cowboys tickets for vaccinated folks as part of a broader campaign. Visit the DRC website to find out more about where to get vaccinated and to sign up for prizes.

Demand for the vaccine in Texas has slowed down, and less than half of Texans 12 years and older are fully vaccinated. In Dallas County, the percentage of fully vaccinated people is about the same at 46.7%. Because of the slowdown, herd immunity isn’t expected to be met until July, said Steve Miff, Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation CEO.

For more information on how to get vaccinated, visit the city’s website.
