Nationwide Children’s Hospital of Columbus, Ohio is building new facilities and conducting research with $3.3 billion. The hospital is one of the best and most l me specialize in pediatric care and this $3.3 billion will be productive in their mission to treat children and youth.
The money is going to fund more research, the buildings it will be conducted in, an inpatient facility, and new programs. A good amount of this money will make different types of therapies more available and a new program to treat fetuses while still in mother’s womb.
The hospital will construct their first orthopedic center along with their fourth research building. The source of this money is debt funds, philanthropy (helping others through mostly financial donations), and the money that the hospital makes from providing its services.
Debt funds are funds that invest in both or debt securities, which are promises to pay a specific amount by a specific date. These three sources provided the hospital with billions of dollars to expand on the methods they use to give children quality care.
Nationwide Childrens is looking forward to the conclusions of these projects because they will allow the hospital to continue their work in returning children to health and provide care for children in areas where it’s severely needed.
The new buildings, research, and unique kinds of care will grant the hospital a chance to understand who has been at a disadvantage and offer them the new strategies of care. The CEO, Tim Robisnson, is immensely proud of these plans and the people who made it possible.
