Spanning over 21,000 square feet, this store has 15 different themed rooms all showcasing different facets of the wizarding world all containing exclusive merchandise and interactive elements.
Upon first entering the flagship store, guests will be greeted by a 100kg floating Fawkes the Phoenix, and is just one of many meticulously crafted statues you can expect to see throughout the store.
Be sure to have your phones ready because the photo opportunities at Harry Potter New York are unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. In each themed room you’ll notice the spectacular detail work that went into creating the experience. From a ministry of magic London style phone booth to a super cool immersive setting where you actually get to sit inside one of Hagrid’s boots, these fun photo experiences are sure to make the memories of visiting this store last a lifetime.
Be sure to check back later this summer because Harry Potter New York has plans to dabble in the world of virtual reality with extra special experiences that include a Quittige themed stimulation that lets guests experience the feeling of flying on a broomstick through the sky and even a Hogwarts experience that invites customers to step into the beloved castle.
Some more fun surprises are available to those who are a part of the Harry Potter Fan Club, which is an app you can download to your phone. Users just have to keep an eye out for “Enchanted Keys” throughout the store. Simply scan the key on your phone to unlock super cool behind the scenes facts.
