BURNSVILLE, MN — The Ames Center Theatre in Burnsville has a lineup of events through the end of the year.

The first one is Ty Stone’s James Brown Experience. This is a tribute show to James Brown, The Godfather of Soul, a funk music initiator in the United States. Ty Stone will be presenting the Soul of James Brown with James’ performance characteristics such as his shouting vocals, feverish dancing, wardrobe, and unique rhythmic style.

The second one is 1964 The Tribute. This is a tribute to The Beatles and acknowledged by The Rolling Stone magazine as the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth.” 1964 The Tribute will display the early ’60s The Beatle live concert vibes with period-correct instruments, clothing, hairstyles, and onstage banter with perfect accuracy.

The last one for this year is Rocky Mountain High Experience: A John Denver Christmas starring Rick Schuler. This is a tribute to America’s Top John Denver, a folk musician. The show highlights’ unforgettable, magical, and intimate experience that will take you back to the ’70s when John Denver’s music permeated the airways spanning the radio dial.’ Rick Schuler will perform John Denver’s all-time hits such as “Rocky Mountain High,” “Sunshine On My Shoulders,” “Take Me Home County Roads,” “Leaving On A Jet Plane,” “Annie’s Song,” and “Thank God I’m a County Boy,”

Rocky Mountain High Experience: A John Denver Christmas starring Rick Schuler will be on December 3 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $60 and orchestra reserved seatings are available. The ticket will be available at ticketmaster.com or https://www.ames-center.com/rmxmas.html.
