Police launch search to find man behind Mott Haven bodega assault

(THE BRONX, N.Y.) The New York City Police Department is in search of a man who assaulted a bodega worker in the Bronx on Monday, according to ABC 7 NY.

The NYPD distributed footage of the attack on Wednesday, which took place at the Fayez Express Deli located at 461 Willis Ave. in the Mott Haven section of the borough just before midnight.

The suspect attacked the 43-year-old employee, shoved him to the ground and struck him several times.

The assailant exited the store after stealing the victim's cell phone in the attack.

According to ABC 7, the worker is set to fully recover from the incident.
