MENTOR, OH — Local writer and author Rachele Alpine will be hosting the Virtual Author Visit held by Mentor Public Library on July 1, 2021. The event will include a Q&A session with Rachele Alpine about her latest series, The Invincible Girls Club, tips and tricks in kickstarting a writing journey, and much of everything related to the author's life and writing. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Rachele Alpine has published multiple children's books and young adult fiction during her career as a writer and a teacher. Some notable titles from her works are Operation Pucker Up, You Throw Like a Girl, Best. Night. Ever and Friday Night Stage Lights.

Her latest series, The Invincible Girls, tells about the adventure of four heroines—Ruby, Lauren, Myka, and Emelyn—in overcoming problems and difficulties in their community using their creativity. Each book would focus on specific topics such as environment, bullying, animals, and more. The readers would find their journey in solving problems together and creating awareness of what's happening around the community.

Aside from her writing, Alpine also actively gives advice and lectures about writing, along with conducting writing camps and classes. Her writings are also featured in News-Herald, Cleveland Magazine, Martha Holden Jennings Grant Newsletter, and more.

Between her role as an English teacher and a mom, Alpine always seeks her writing moment and uses the experience and knowledge gained from her everyday life to indulge in her writing process.

The virtual meeting is free for anyone who wants to join. Visit their website here to enroll.
