After crashing out at high speed in Baku due to a tyre failure, Lance Stroll is eager to bounce back quickly this weekend with a strong showing at the FORMULA 1 EMIRATES GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE 2021.

Grand Prix racing originated in France, and the French Grand Prix has been hosted at various venues since 1950.

Since the 1970s and 1980s, this circuit has been one of the most popular in the world for testing car setups.

The legendary Mistral Straight offers a peak speed of over 300km/h (217mph) before the snaking Beauset curve offers a true test of a car and driver.

Lance Stroll Ready To Bounce Back

Baku was a bitter-sweet weekend for Lance Stroll, who had his race ended in scary fashion with a high-speed crash, before watching his teammate take the teams first podium.

The Canadian is hoping for a much better weekend this time around…

“My race in Baku ended in disappointment, but the whole team can take positives from our race pace and the boost Sebastian’s podium gave us all. I’m determined to bounce back strongly in France. Paul Ricard is a good all-rounder and tests every aspect of a Formula One car, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the AMR21 performs this weekend,” said Stroll.

Another Podium For Sebastian Vettel?

Sebastian Vettel comes to France on a high after finishing second in Baku, and has a taste for the podium once again.

“I think we’re coming into this race on a high after the success of Baku. There’s been time to celebrate, but now I’m fully focused on maintaining our momentum in France. We’ve brought home a decent points haul in Monaco and Azerbaijan, and we need to keep up the consistent form in what is proving to be an extremely close midfield battle this year,” added Vettel.
