(SAN JOSE, Calif.) Multiple cities in Santa Clara County are opening cooling centers this week as the temperature is expected to reach triple-digits.

According to San Jose Inside, the cooling centers in San Jose will be open starting Wednesday until Friday and residents visiting these centers must abide by all county guidelines.

The National Weather Service Bay Area released a heat advisory, which is in effect and temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees or higher for the next three days.

County officials advise people to take safety measures during this extremely hot weather that can cause heatstroke, heat exhaustion, heat cramps, sunburn, heat rash, and even death.
