AKRON, OH — Akron Art Museum has announced the upcoming exhibition featuring Cleveland artist Jordan Wong entitled "Games in the Garden."

Held at Bud and Susie Rogers Garden, the visitors are presented with an exceptional exhibition concept. The visitors are presented with the scavenger hunt games, where they team up with several members to solve the puzzle hidden in the installation.

After the game, Wong will give a tour of his installation and reveal the way to solve the game. The exhibition is adapting an outdoor theme, where the visitors can enjoy the installment; paintings, photographs, and sculptures in the middle of the afternoon breeze and sunshine.

In his displayed artworks, Wong is mostly influenced by traditional Chinese painting, Japanese manga and anime, video games, and comic books with graphic design, iconographies, and Wong’s philosophical values.

The exhibition concept of combining artworks and games is certainly not to be missed. Team up with your friends to the scavenger hunt and win the prize. Games in the Garden is held on June 17, 2021, from 6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. Tickets are available free for members and $5 for non-members. The space availability is limited to ensure the visitor's safety, so make sure to save your space by purchasing the ticket here https://akronartmuseum.org/events/aam-after-work-games-in-the-garden-with-artist-jordan-wong/.

Jordan Wong is a Cleveland graphic designer and the president of the Cleveland chapter of the AIGA Professional Association for Design. His works have appeared in various areas within Northeast Ohio. Wong was also featured in Cleveland Magazines' Most Interesting People in January 2021.
