CONROE, TX – A new kind of entertainment venue is coming soon to Conroe, The Table at Madeley held its groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday in preparation for its construction and grand opening later this year.

The Table at Madeley is a first of its kind for the Conroe area; a family and pet friendly park which will bring together some of the best food trucks around to offer residents a little taste of everything.

“Part of our slogan is music, foodie, and family; and we’ve created this outdoor space to bring your dogs and your kids,” said Frank Jackson, owner and founder of Table at Madeley. “We just want to create a nice, family friendly place that can say ‘Downtown Conroe is open for business.’”

Drawing inspiration from 403 Eats in Tomball, Frank and his wife Bel Jackson decided to transform an old, dilapidated piece of property in downtown Conroe into an open green space with food and entertainment while maintaining a deep piece of Conroe history by keeping the Madeley family namesake.

“The reason why we named it Madeley is obviously we are at the address, but we just wanted to kind of nod to the historic nature of Conroe and how things are changing in the future without letting the history of Conroe be forgotten,” said Jackson.

According to blueprints for the food truck park, the Table will offer indoor, outdoor, and patio seating near a covered stage and bar. With a combined seating capacity of 162 and a revolving set of food trucks to choose from, the location expects to be operational in the next 6-7 months.

“To have someone with that talent that is in the know here in Conroe and brings us local acts and brings another restaurant venue to the City; I mean, what more could we ask for?” said Conroe Mayor Jody Czajkoski. “This piece of property, it wasn’t the most appealing tract around town, but it’s about to be a $1 million asset on the tax rolls. So, you have tax value, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit.”
