If you haven't heard of Trader Joe's yet, you must be in need of some fresh new pantry items. Trader Joe's is a grocery store that is an American chain. It's headquarters is located in Monrovia, California and it had over 503 stores nationwide by the year 2019.

Trader Joe's has uniqueness in all aspects of the grocery world. While a grocery store like Walmart or Wegmans may stock around 50,000 grocery items, Trader Joe's only stocks about 4,000. However, don't let these numbers fool you. This grocery store is unlike any other being that about 80% of the items stocked are of its own brand name. Many of these items are safe for the environment and fresh. The items sold cary from vegan and vegetarian items, frozen foods, fresh produce, dairy, meat and meat alternatives, imported foods and beverages, and much more.
Trader Joe's also sells seasonal foods such as a variety of christmas cookies for the holidays, pumpkin spice and apple cider everything for the fall festivities, and even keep a hefty stock of breads like pita bread, brioche buns, naan breads, bagels, tortillas, and anything else bread related that you can think of.
While the shopping experience at Trader Joe's is indescribable until you visit this unique grocery store, I can at least let you know about their newest items being sold so you can snag them before they sell out.
Spicy Porkless Plant-Based Snack Rinds: $2.99
If you're like 99.9% of the world, you love to snack. Trader Joe's new snack rinds are the talk of the snack-town. Many of us already know about pork rinds and we love them. They are crunchy, flavorful, addicting and well...pork. These are a plant-based version of those and still have the "porky" flavor that we all know and love. These snacks are gluten-free, vegan and kosher-certified. They contain 7 grams of plant-based protein per serving and are actually baked. Not only are they delicious, but a much more nutritious version of your favorite snack.
Chile Lime Mayonnaise: $2.99
Now that the weather is warmer, the pants are getting shorter, and the people of Rochester are coming out of their cocoons, it is time for grilling season. With that being said, summer weather makes me want to grill almost everything. What if I told you that Trader Joe's keeps a Chile Lime mayonnaise in their inventory to go with that fresh grilled corn? Yes, I said it. This tasty summer spread is made with ancho chile pepper powder and chipotle powder to give it the kick we all needed. A touch of lime juice is also added into the mix for the perfect summery blend of flavor all in one can. This can be enjoyed on a grilled hamburger or drizzled on some tacos. Tangerine Cream Bars: $2.99
You saw that right. These ice cream bars are going to sell-out so fast in this heat and not because we need something cold, but we need something as delicious as these bars. These Trader Joe's Tangerine Cream bars are made with a sweet vanilla ice-cream interior and a tangerine-orange sorbet exterior. For that price and that flavor, I am here for it.
Vegan Cookies & Cream Vanilla Bean Bon Bons: $3.99
Since we are on the topic of frozen desserts, Trader Joe's doesn't seem to disappoint in variety. These sweet frozen bon bons are a non-dairy frozen dessert that might leave you wondering if they really are vegan. The interior is made with coconut non-dairy milk and vanilla bean creme flavors and covered with a chocolatey coating. They're not only bite size desserts, but they can be enjoyed anytime anywhere as long as there's room in the tummy. Let's face the fact here, there always is for a dessert like this one.
As you can imagine, there's much more to enjoy at this local grocery store than what I have talked about. The value and uniqueness Trader Joe's brings to the table is not like any other and cannot be compared to many other grocery stores around. Not only do they provide food that is unusual in the best way possible, but the prices are unbeatable. It would be a mistake to pass a visit to Trader Joe's. Put on those fancy shoes and head in to check out their brand new and existing items.
