Have you ever wondered what is there to explore in Chandler, Arizona?

This article is all about that! The summer is here, and if you'd like to go on some fun trips in Chandler and spend some time in the sunshine, I have some tips for you. Chandler has many wonderful fun places to offer and it would be a shame to miss out on visiting them.

Without further ado, here are some of the fun places you get to visit in Chandler! Let's go!

KOLI Equestrian Center

First of all, the KOLI Equestrian Center is the perfect place for anyone who is interested in horseback riding. In the center, you get to ride horses while also enjoying the lovely hot weather in Arizona this time of year.

The center is actually located right in the Gila River Indian Community Reservation - it's very close to Phoenix as well as Chandler. And what has the official website of the KOLI Equestrian Center got to say?

"All of our trail rides are designed as “walking” rides to keep it simple and gentle on both riders and their horses. However, if you are an experienced rider and you’re interested in something that requires a greater skill level, just let us know. We can provide an experienced rider that would like to “kick it up a little” with a Private Ride."

If you choose to take a Private Ride, you actually get to see where the wild horses still roam without any restrictions.

Some of the rides offered by the center include Mother's Day Ride, Margarita Sunset 60 Minute Ride, Father's Day Ride, or Saturday Date Night. It doesn't matter if you're a professional or if you've never ridden a horse - there is something for everybody in the KOLI Equestrian Center, and there are trail horses for every possible level.

Apart from horseback riding, you get to explore other fun activities offered by the center, such as carriage rides, birthday parties, or cattle drives.

The official address of the center is 6940 W Broken Ear Road in Chandler, however, searching for KOLI Equestrian Center might make it easier for you to find it. Don't hesitate to visit the website for more information. Have a fun trip!

Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center

The second place definitely worth visiting in Chandler on a sunny day is the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center.

As the title suggests, this water park lets you enjoy some of the great attractions associated with aquatic centers - water slides, diving boards, areas for sitting (in the sunshine as well as the shade), and so on. Some of the specific things mentioned on the Visit Chandler website include "Lazy River", "Big Blue Bucket" and "Competition/Lap Pool".

According to Chandler Arizona:

"Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center is a shared-use facility adjacent to Basha High School. The facility boasts a lazy river with a bridge waterfall and a family play pool; an SCS interactive water feature with a 6-foot 725-gallon tumble bucket; two waterslides; water vortex; water spray pad; and an eight-lane competition pool. Mesquite Groves was awarded the Arizona Parks and Recreation "Outstanding Facility" award in 2009. In 2010 it was awarded the Arizona Republic Reader's Choice Runner-up Best Kids Water Park or Pool."

The water is apparently heated, so you don't have to worry about the water being too cold! What's more, people who live in Chandler can reserve their place in the center in advance. People from outside Chandler are permitted inside based on how much space is left.

So why not go for a swim in Chandler? The sun is shining, the temperatures are rising and the days are getting longer. It's the perfect time for diving into water and having fun! If you'd like to visit the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center, head to 5901 S. Hillcrest Dr. in Chandler.

You are bound to have a great fun trip.
