Tuesday can still be a fun day to get out and about at some local events. There are plenty of things to choose from! Check out these events in and near Menomonee Falls this Tuesday, June 15th.

Head to Brookfield and Art N Soul Design Studio for a fun night of painting abstract floral portraits. This event is taking place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. You will be creating three different abstract florals using alcohol inks in this workshop. There will be instructions on how to guide an dmix the inks. The pieces will also be matted, so they are ready for framing. This is a great workshop for beginners as well as those who are more advanced. Everyone can learn something! It is appropriate for ages 14 and up. It costs $55 per person and all materials are provided.

If you feel like heading a bit west to Watertown, you can check out this fun food truck event at Sugar Island Barn from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The full bar will be open with soda for the kids. Carry-ins are not allowed. There will be full barn tours available as well. It will feature delicious food from Slo’ Motion BBQ and donuts from Harvest Moon Market. Music will be provided by Tale Spin.

Head over to Waukesha’s Cutler Park for this fun, free and informative event, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and their owls will present basic owl behaviors, history and demonstrate their night hunting skills. No registration is required.

This free yoga event is taking place at Alice’s Garden Urban Farm in Milwaukee from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You will need to bring your own mat and no plastic water bottles are permitted in the garden.

If your kids like to dance, consider this fun class from Dreams Life and Wellness Center in Waukesha from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. They will be learning different dances from all over Latin America. This class takes place every Monday at 5 p.m. The first class is free, and then costs a monthly fee of $40. This class is for ages 3 to 6, but from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there is a class for kids 7 to 12.

Why not find a new way to enjoy the sunset this Tuesday? Join the Milwaukee Rowing Club from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night for a wonderful experience. This event is for both adults and teens. You will paddle down the Milwaukee River just as the sun is setting. You will get to enjoy a beautiful sunset in a new way. Meet at the Rowing Club.

If you need some relaxation tonight, check out this Breathing and Meditation Workshop at the WAC in West Allis from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. You will learn simple and effective techniques for developing slow, calm, and efficient breathing. You will also learn to explore and manage your thoughts and emotions through simple meditation practices. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
