(FORT WORTH, Texas) The woman who impersonated a police officer and yelled at teens to leave a playground in 2019 was arrested again for alleged bond violation, Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
The bond violation arises from the park incident when Samantha Louise Eley, 40, of Fort Worth, confronted teens at Dream Park in Trinity Park. Video footage showed Eley argue with teenage girls after telling them that the playground swings were meant for younger children. The argument escalated, and Eley told the girls that she was “PD,” and she threatened to arrest them.
Eley was arrested for the incident but was bailed out days later under the conditions that she would submit urine samples for testing for controlled substances, would not consume alcohol, would not buy weapons and would abstain from drug use.
However, Eley allegedly skipped 51 alcohol monitoring tests between March 3, 2020 and May 10, 2020. She was arrested in June 2020 and jailed for two weeks. She was arrested again last November for bond violations such as alcohol consumption and tampering with an at-home alcohol monitoring device.
Eley was most recently jailed without bond after Tarrant County officials found out that she was arrested under a different name for driving while intoxicated on the third offense or more in Ellis County. Eley was also in custody for a family violence assault charge.
