(SAN FRANCISCO) A Yorkshire terrier stolen during a San Francisco vehicle break-in was reunited with his owners on Sunday.

The San Francisco Police Department received information about the location of the 10-year-old male dog, Leo, and retrieved the terrier in Oakland around 2 p.m.

Leo was reported missing on June 10 by his owners, Jacqueline Zavala Lee and Refugio Zavala. Their Lexus sedan was broken into around 10:15 p.m. near Fisherman’s Wharf. The window was broken and Leo and the dog carrier he was in were stolen. A suitcase was also missing from the vehicle.

KPIX 5 reported the couple was visiting San Francisco to celebrate their 12th anniversary and had been touring the area for several hours.

No arrests in connection to the burglary have been made at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department’s tip line at 415-575-4444 or text TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.
