On Monday, June 14, 2021, there will be two programs. The first is Virtual Teen Program: HMNS - Amazing Arthropods. This is a video program presented by the Houston Museum of Natural Science titled Virtual Bugs on Wheels: Amazing Arthropods. The video will be started at 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on https://vimeo.com/429743547.
The second is Kids Craft: Marionette that will be starting at 3:00 PM. It is a short demonstration of how to make a marionette of their own. Materials will be provided by the library and packed as a take-home craft.
On Tuesday, June 15, there will be two programs. The first one is the Family Story time, a storytime for children of all ages that will show books, music, activities and/or crafts. The program will start at 11:00 AM. The second one is a teen program called Creepy Craft: Frankentoys, which features a demonstration on how to make a Frankentoy using old toys.
The Virtual Kids Program: The Nutty Scientist will be on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM. This is a virtual program that will be broadcasted on the Library's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pasadenapubliclibrary/ and Instagram https://www.instagram.com/pasadenatxpubliclibrary/. Professor Proton will demonstrate three educational science shows.
On Thursday, June 17, there will be two programs. The first one is Virtual Kids Program: Julian Franklin - Variety Arts Show that will be started at 11:00 AM as Julian Franklin showcases hilarious puppet skills, silly fake commercials, magic tricks, interactive games and many more. The second one is an in-house teen program named Squid Dissection that will be started at 3:00 PM. This program is a collaboration between the library and the Downtown Aquarium as they will display how dissect a squid. The participants will be limited at this one.
There is an adult program called Adult Craft for Friday, June 18, 2021. It is a weekly Adult Craft demonstration that will be started at 4:00 PM. The materials for the craft are provided by the library and it will be a take-home, pre-packed craft.
On Monday, June 21, there is Kids Craft: Father’s Day Card. This program is a short demonstration on how to make a do-it-yourself Father's Day Card. The materials will be provided by the library as a take-home, pre-packed craft.
