Located in Brisbane just a few miles down from San Francisco, Round n Round Pot specializes in conveyor belt hot pot where you can grab the items from the moving belt yourself. The concept itself is unique in the sense you do not have to keep requesting items from the serves and you are more hands-on in your eating experience. Depending on when you come, it can get quite busy here. Located in a plaza, there is plenty of parking outside and they currently have indoor and outdoor dining. How it works is: you pick your soup broth, choice of meat, make your sauce at the sauce bar and then start grabbing ingredients from the conveyor belt. They have a great variety of options like spinach, broccoli, fish fillets, various types of fish balls, dessert, fruit, seafood (shrimp, scallops), etc. You can get carried away with the conveyor belt experience since it is so fun to just grab it but everything is delicious and tasty. Round n Round Pot is also pretty good at restocking the items so you'll just have to wait for the belt to go through a full round and another set of those items will be available for you to grab.
I love the super chill environment of this place. I was there for about 2 hours until closing time and the staff made sure to tell me when they were going to stop the belt or asked if we had any special requests before they closed. I appreciate their quick service and attention to detail. I do have to note that if you are outdoor dining, they do not have the same experience for the conveyor belt so they bring the ingredients out to you instead. The price point for all you can eat is $29 per person during dinner time which is pretty standard in the city. I also heard that they have hot pots to go for their takeout menu so instead of choosing different ingredients, the hot pot is already preselected and you choose the option you like. It's further since it's in Brisbane but I like this place in terms of the food and great service with friendly staff. The location to get there was in a sketchy area but at least there is a parking lot with plenty of parking in the plaza. There's not a lot of places in the Bay Area with a conveyor belt all-you-can-eat hot pot so Round n Round Pot is worth the drive!
