My roommate brews beer for Stoup Brewing and that of course makes me a massive fan. Well, to be more fair, I am a huge fan because of the fact that the beer is incredible. It's just a bonus that my roomie brews it, and women who brew are cool as heck.
Their new taproom is off 522, down in Kenmore and it is way cooler than I anticipated! My friend and I only swung through for a couple beers and to check the place out and WOW! It's fantastic! We sat outside in the large outdoor seating area. All the ordering is done through your phone, and it's very convenient. I ordered the German Pilsner and my friend ordered the No Sleep Til Ballard IPA. Both were delicious!
I didn't realize that Stoup has paired with Stone-Hearth Pizza, owned by Jason Stoneburner! I repeat this Stoup location has food! I wish I had known this, or I would have not eaten before we went there, but I'll definitely be back to enjoy a meal. We observed many patrons ordering wood fire pizzas and burgers and wings. I'm really excited about this!
The building itself is gorgeous. Tons of glass. An upstairs area is included as well. I imagine this place being very busy and I think Kenmore really needed a great spot like this!
