Bail Set for 24-Year-Old Manitowoc Man Accused of Having Relations with Minor
Bail is set at $250 cash for a 24-year-old Manitowoc man taken into custody this week on a charge of Sexual Intercourse of a Child age 16 or older. Michael J. Tauschek has a history of violent and sexual behavior having been convicted previously of Attempted Second Degree Sexual Assault with use of force and Attempted First-Degree Homicide. The mother’s victim told police that her daughter and Tauschek had met on Snapchat. The victim said the two had been dating about three weeks and engaged in sexual activity and that he was fully aware of how old she was. Read more
