CUYAHOGA, CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services is currently seeking strategic partners for service delivery concerning their Community Social Services Program.

The Community Social Services Program (CSSP) provides adult day services, adult development activities, congregate meals, transportation, and other services. Regardless of COVID-19, they served over 124,000 meals and 121,000 hours to clients in 2020.

The Division of Senior and Adult Services (DSAS) is expanding the programs to incorporate more innovation and outreach activities to support and encourage countywide community innovation and collaboration in service delivery.

The department will issue a Request for Proposals to provide service on June 10, and organizations in the county are encouraged to apply.

"We are challenging providers to come up with new programs that address the needs of the unique populations they serve. We're looking for services that lead to long-term improvements in the lives of older adults and adults with disabilities," said DSAS Administrator Tracey Mason.

Proposals must benefit local and neighborhood-based resources. Senior centers, aging-service organizations, academic institutions, medical institutions, healthcare providers, non-profits, and other community organizations are encouraged to work together through DSAS.

The proposal submission deadline is July 12. A virtual pre-bid conference will be held on June 17 at 11 a.m. to answer questions before submission.

To be placed on the list of approved bidders, interested organizations should contact the Office of Procurement and Diversity at 216-443-7200 or OPD@cuyahogacounty.us or Daphne James at Daphne.kelker@jfs.ohio.gov or 216-698-4731.
