The mastermind behind the success of this amazing local bakery is Mr. Pat Bernunzio. Bernunzio is a great example of how hard work, passion, and determination is the key to success in life and those are all qualities that he possessed. After working for his father, Bernunzio and his wife decided to open up their own bakery in 1980 from scratch. However their business story isn't as straight forward as all of the rest.
Bernunzio and his family moved all the way to Hawaii and continued their bakery business expertise while there. It was 3 years after the fact that they moved back to Rochester for good and served our community with the greatest of goods! This time, Bernunzio was as serious and as passionate as ever with Leo's Bakery and even produced wholesale distribution of products on top of his cookie- focused bakery.
