The space center in Houston is one of the must see places for tourists, located in a huge complex where you could just walk through the space shuttle replica and the enormous shuttle carrier aircraft that it is mounted upon.

In the visit area of the complex, you are allowed to wander into the replica of America’s first space station, Skylab and you are also allowed to touch a rock from the moon. This is also the best place to get information about NASA’s upcoming missions, which includes their future plans to travel to Mars. If you planned on visiting on a Friday afternoon, there is a huge chance you’d get to meet an astronaut.
