Every time the weather breaks more crimes start to arise and more people become injured, not due to the weather but due to people having more access.

The people committing the crimes have harmful intentions but, in most shootings, people risk harming children.

This is exactly what happened Thursday night four victims have been injured from a drive-by shooting. One victim was a child who is currently injured, a man is dead, and two adults are injured.

The victims that were injured are in stable condition, and the police are now on the search for the people that committed the crime.

In an article from Fox 2 News called "Detroit police looking for 4 suspects after quadruple shooting that killed 1, injured child" by Robin Murdoch and Jack Nissen were able to elaborate on the incident.

Robin Murdoch and Jack Nissen stated "A quadruple shooting that injured a child would make news anywhere. But the wave of shootings rolling over the city has become increasingly common as fatal and non-fatal shootings have risen since the pandemic struck Detroit.

During the latest shooting, Stewart said she counted 22 shell casings "from a couple different firearms, semi-automatic weapons."

"That is why we have a major push to take as many illegal guns off the street as we can at this point," said Stewart."

With all of these shootings, that is happening how can we assure that things will get better? Yes, you can take away illegal guns but people will just find new ways to commit these crimes and harm people.

How would you handle a situation like this?
