Today, we're going to have a look at two fascinating educational places in Chandler, namely the Vision Gallery and the Tumbleweed Ranch Museum. They're both great places to visit if you'd like to learn some new information, have a nice time and explore Chandler, Arizona.

Without further ado, let's see what Chandler has to offer!

Vision Gallery

The Vision Gallery is the perfect place for anyone who's interested in art. It's a non-profit gallery that's managed by the Chandler Cultural Foundation.

According to the official website of the Vision Gallery:

"Vision Gallery is a welcoming space for art aficionados and casual visitors alike to experience and interact with art. With an abundance of natural light, Chandler’s Vision Gallery is a clean and contemporary setting for ever-changing and engaging exhibitions. It is the only space of its kind in the Chandler area to feature a wide variety of media from local and regional artists, inspiring the community to discover art in a myriad of forms."

What's more, the exhibitions that you get to explore in the Vision Gallery are truly very varied. They can be related to all kinds of art and areas, such as photography, ceramics, sculpture, painting, textiles and more.

At the time of writing this article (11th June 2021), there are some upcoming events listed on the website - in August, you'll get to see the exhibition called "Off the Clock: Artwork by City of Chandler Employees", while October will bring an exhibition "A Peculiar Nature: Artwork by Christy Puetz and Rebecca Blume Rothman".

If you'd like to visit the Vision Gallery in Chandler, don't hesitate to head to 10 East Chicago Street in Chandler where the gallery is located. And you don't have to worry about price tickets because the admission is free! The gallery is generally open from Monday until Friday between 10 AM and 5 PM, and on Saturday from 10 AM until 4 PM.

Tumbleweed Ranch Museum

If you're interested in agriculture, the Tumbleweed Ranch Museum is a great place to visit in Chandler! The museum is a part of the Chandler Museum, which is also definitely worth visiting.

Agriculture has played a major role in the history of Chandler basically ever since 1890. The Tumbleweed Ranch Museum is located in an area that was preserved in 1999 so that the history of agriculture can be shared with future generations.

To quote the Chandler Arizona website:

"The 14 acres of Tumbleweed Ranch serve as a location for school field trips, the Ostrich Festival, Chandler High School Future Farmers of America, and the Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off. Features of the Ranch include the McCroskey House, Edwards House, Red Shed Theater, an early 1900s grocery store, FFA demonstration fields, and antique agricultural equipment."

The Tumbleweed Ranch Museum is managed by the Pardners of Tumbleweed Ranch, who are also responsible for creating various events and programs that spread the knowledge of agriculture and its history.

If you'd like to visit the museum, go to 2250 S. McQueen Rd in Chandler. The museum is open every day from 6 AM until 6 PM.
