My sisters and I have a love for chasing waterfalls. Washington State has some great ones! For this hike, we decided to pack up the dog and drive to North Bend, to a trailhead that would begin that days waterfall hike.

We chose to hike to Tenerife Falls for a few reasons. Primarily it's location. North Bend isn't too far a drive from the city. About an hour! Not bad. Another reason we chose this hike is because of it's difficulty level, moderate. The hike is about 6 miles round trip. It does definitely have some elevation gain, that can cause you to stop to catch your breath. And then, while you're catching your breath, you wonder "why do I like hiking?!" Oh yea, because at the goal of our hike, we have a glass of wine! A picnic and a glass of wine? Perfection. I'm kidding, it's for the nature. ;-)

This hike is very green and lush. The waterfall isn't the most spectacular thing you'll ever see, but it's very pretty. It's a great hike and I recommend it!
