Louisville knows how to make weekends special. If you are in the city this weekend and looking for ways to celebrate the summer, two events are taking place to help you get out, mix, mingle, and make merry.
The Breeze Wine Bar presents Rosé Partay
It’s the start of rosé season and to kick it off The Breeze Wine Bar, located in Logan Street Market in Louisville, is hosting an outdoor rosé wine mini-fest called the Rosé Partay on June 12, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This is a ticketed tasting event of fine rosés from around the globe.
When you purchase a ticket for Rosé Partay, you get:
- Tasting of 15 different Rosé Wines
- Tasting of Saltwater Woody Grapefruit and Lemon Rum
- Tasting of Wise Bird Rosé Cider
- A commemorative wine glass
- A Rosé Partay reusable wine tote
- A raffle ticket entry to our Partay Giveaway!
Music will be provided by DJ Nerddboi, and artwork and merchandise will be provided by Cosmic Asada .
After the wine tasting you are invited to the official after party at ShopBar for rosé specials. Featured wines will be available for purchase during the event at The Breeze. Swag bags will also include a purchase order form and wines may be picked up the following Friday.
Admission to the event is $40 in advance or $45 at the door.

Shakespeare is Back in Central Park
After much ado, Kentucky Shakespeare is back for its 61st season of the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Louisville’s Central Park.
The season will open with “Shakespeare In Love,” which is based on the screenplay of the Oscar-winning film by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard. This stage adaptation features music, dancing, 20 performers, and a dog.
Food Trucks will be available at 6 p.m.; Will’s Tavern at 6:30 p.m.; and the main stage production begins at 8 p.m.
Kids Globe--where kids can participate in free interactive, hand-on arts activities all summer long--opens at 7 p.m. This is a FREE family event and no ticket is required. Shakespeare Kentucky will host plays in the park through the summer.
