NYPD seeking 2 men after alleged robbery, assault with baseball bat in the Bronx

(THE BRONX, N.Y.) The New York City Police Department is looking for two men responsible for an aggressive robbery in the Bronx, according to ABC 7 NY.

One of the men was captured on video as he was swinging a baseball bat.

The suspect faces accusations of striking a 27-year-old man last Tuesday around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Carroll Place and McClellan Street.

Officials said the thieves struck the man with the bat and ran off with his keys and chain.

According to ABC 7, they escaped from the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to Bronx Lebanon Hospital in stable condition.

Police did not release descriptions of the assailants.
