This very charming restaurant serves delicious food in a retro relax ambiance that makes it perfect to enjoy a date or hang out with friends or family. They have a lovely terrasse where you can enjoy your meal with a glass of wine and there's also music event like piano jazz on the patio that really adds up to the atmosphere. On the food menu, The salmon salad is crazy delicious and their power bowls too. I also enjoy the steak and Gorgonzola salad with grilled steak tomatoes, onions, carrots, hardboiled egg, blue cheese, mixed greens and buttermilk gorgonzola dressing.to learn more about this location, the menu and the events, you can visit their website here.

Antonino's Taverna LLC

This family-owned eatery located on 2225 Macklind Avenue. It is certainly one of the most praised around town. They serve the best Toasted ravioli in St.Louis and those are handmade in-house, filled with ground beef, ricotta and pecorino romano cheese with a delightful marinara. If this doesn't put you in the mood, I wonder what will. On the veggie options, you have to try the Spanakopita, also in-house made. It's an absolute delight. The calamari has to be tried too. With fresh wild-caught squid served deep-fried or sautéed with marinara and house aioli, it's a perfect starter to whet your appetite. For the main course, you shall never be disappointed here by the pizzas or pasta. Served with fresh ingredients and a dedicated kitchen staff, it's obvious that the quality is on top of the mission of this establishment. Ever since I've tasted the food at Fountain on Locust, I became a big fan. This place has made his made not by its retro style but by their soups which are always delicious and praised in the area. The St. Louis City salad comes with mixed valley greens, roasted red peppers, hearts of artichoke, red onions, parmesan cheese. The fresh house-made dijon vinaigrette is great. On the dessert menu, my favorite treat is the Nutty Irishman with Creamy Irish Coffee ice cream with hot fudge and pecans, topped with our homemade whipped cream. On the dessert menu, The Chocolate Brownie Cake in a cup is unbelievable. To learn more about this location, you can visit their website here.
