The Table is an urban, neighborhood eatery that focuses on seasonal ingredients located in San Jose, California, hand-crafted cocktails, and progressive wines. It is a contemporary American cuisine place.

The idea behind their name is heart-touching. The thought is a table can bring great food, fun drinks, and lovely people together, and how some of our greatest memories have been created sitting around a table – which is what it aims to achieve.

The Table prioritizes their food quality, they get their products from local farms and ranches. They cook their food respecting the origin of the ingredients and getting the freshest, quality products. Juices, syrups, purees – are all made by themselves in their kitchen. The table has some of the most creative cocktails as they place significance in innovative wines, unique micro-brews, and excellent ingredients.

The Table has a wonderful ambiance, both indoor, and fun outdoor sitting on the patio, and quality food service. It is a great place for any meal of the day - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are planning to go have your breakfast there, a couple of suggestions to try would be – duck poutine and the eggs benedict. Their beignets and omelets are pretty recommended by the customers, and their chilaquiles are scrumptious – perfectly soaked in the sauce yet crunchy. People are utterly crazy for their Belgian waffles, which is a must-try if you are going to visit The Table. The Table has great options for lunch as well. Tagliatelle pasta, vegetarian frittata, braised beef cheeks, smoked salmon – are some of their tastiest items on the menu. Besides, the crostinis, their special sashimi, corn beef hash are some great options as well. And it gets better, not only are both the breakfast and lunch meals outstanding, you will get delightful choices from The Table’s dinner menu. Some of the ones that stand out are – grilled Spanish octopus cilantro relish, seared octopus, the impossible burger. Their fried chicken is excellent – tender chicken, boneless except for the wing with a delicious crisp texture and spicy flavor. Besides, the pork chop is juicy, it is very flavorful with a generous portion of meat and pomegranate bits on top which adds just the perfect level of crunchiness with every bite. Now, their selection and preparation of drinks are remarkable. The recommendations for drinks would be – the rising sun, secret garden. The Table also offers bottomless mimosas, which work as a huge crowd magnet as well. But it is worth it, their drinks are made with just the right balance of everything and mind-blowing. Just when you thought this place could not get any better, comes their desserts! The sugar-dusted ricotta beignets with lemon curd, pavlova, pot de crème – pick any of these and you cannot go wrong. They also have an impressive kids' menu. Overall, considering their meals, drinks, and ambiance, it is an experience that you will not forget.

The Table also provides great service. The staff is very knowledgeable, attentive and will offer you pleasing recommendations from the menu. They are extremely polite and will significantly enhance your experience.

With all these pros, the one thing you need to know is that it can be a fairly busy place. If you plan on visiting The Table, you might have to wait a few minutes unless you call ahead to get reservations. The whole experience, quality food and customer service are sure to leave you happy and wanting more.
