Fun for all ages, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! offers three fun floors of exhibits featuring 11 themed galleries and over 200 artifacts.
Nowhere else in The Dells can you find shrunken heads, a picture made of toaster crumbs, a barnyard full of two-headed sheep and six-legged cows.
Become an explorer and survive the curse of King Tut as you travel the dark cavernous tunnels of his Egyptian temple.
Continue your exploration and unveil objects hidden throughout the museum and decide for yourself if you Believe it or Not! Ripley’s is fun, entertaining, and amazing for all ages!
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Wisconsin Dells Museum Review
My son is a huge Ripley’s fan and has devoured all of their books dozens of times. He likes their weird images, bizarre collections and unusual facts. He’s been dying to see a Ripley’s museum in person for years, so making a stop at Ripley's Believe It or Not! In the Wisconsin Dells was a must.
Both my teen and tween loved this unique and unusual stop that was filled with twists, turns, unusual exhibits, hidden rooms and more. Watch for special secret buttons on walls and in displays that bring exhibits to live and that unveil secret areas of the museum. (hint, there’s a fireplace involved in one).
When entering the museum, be sure to listen to the instructions from the friendly museum staff. They’ll give you some great tips to find some of the hidden gems on your adventure.
The museum is a fun place to spend an hour or two when visiting the Dells and for a double your fun experience, be sure to check out the savings package with Wizard Quest (which is right next door) for a fun and active scavenger hunt that will keep the whole family busy for hours.
My favorite part of the tour was a small theater that showed a special film featuring the history of Ripley and how some of his unique legacy came to be. It’s such an interesting story!
