CLEVELAND — Cleveland Botanical Garden is holding various summer camps throughout this month. And if your curious little ones are interested in flora and fauna, the garden’s Habitat Hunter might be the perfect event for them.

This event is suitable for children in grades 1-2 and will start from June 7 till 11. The Habitat Hunters will let your children explore the diverse and incredible habitats of the Ohio woodlands and gardens, the Madagascar Spiny Forest, and the Costa Rica Cloud Rainforest. All done in just a week!

The camp will give your children a learning experience by investigating the connection between flora and fauna featured in Cleveland Botanical Garden. The event will also allow the young ones to tour the Botanical Garden, see their curated spaces, meet animal residents up close, and enjoy exciting games and creative activities.

There will be only one session for the Habitat Hunters, on June 7 – June 11 at 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The cost for this session is $300 for members and $325 for nonmembers.

To register, please visit https://887.blackbaudhosting.com/887/Habitat-Hunters. The garden requires participants to finalize their information after registration, which can be done by filling out the following form: https://holdenfg.org/cleveland-botanical-garden-summer-camp-forms/.

To prepare for your children’s exploration, don’t forget to bring lunch, snacks, water bottles, and attire that protects your child during their exploration, such as masks, hats, sunglasses, sturdy footwear, and sunscreen.

To ensure the health and safety of all participants and staff, parents are required to review the updated procedure for Covid-19. Download it from https://2x1yrgcr22q37md3q2ywlwe1-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Letter-to-Camp-Families.pdf.
