You don't have to travel to France to eat delicious crepes. In Lancaster, PA, you'll find Rachel's Cafe & Creperie, serving a huge selection of classic and specialty crepes.

The cafe and creperie opened its doors in Lancaster City in 2006. The Walnut Street location became a go-to spot to get fresh, local crepes. In addition to the large selection of crepes, Rachel's also has a full coffee bar. What's not to love?

Hot spot

Over the years, the creperie became extremely popular among the locals. So much so that the owner Rachel Adams decided to open a second location in Manheim Township, pictured below. This location opened up in 2018, and it has a decent amount of seating, both indoors and outdoors.

Even with its spacious location, it fills up here, quite quickly. You might experience having to wait for a little before you're seated. This is especially if you visit during the weekends, so make sure to get there early. The locations practice first come first serve, you can call in your order for a set pickup time, which they recommend.

Creative

In addition to sweet crepes, Rachel is creative with how she and her staff make all the different crepes to fill every craving and taste preference. If you're not into sweets, their selection of savory crepes is huge. A few of the items on their menu are Thai Chicken Crepe, Cuban Crepe, and a Philly Cheese Crepe.

For the sweet tooth, you'll find the classic Nutella Crepe, Dulce De Leche Crepe, a Mocha Crepe (Yes, please!), and Cookies & Cream. Again, this is just a handful of all their options.

They also have specialty crepes depending on which location you visit. At their township location in Richmond Square, their specialty crepe is currently a Roasted Garlic & Broccoli Crepe. On Walnut Street, you can get their pre-covid specials featuring cold crepes. A local favorite is the Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe.

The crepes are large, so make sure to come hungry. They also can make most of their crepes vegan. It should also be said that they have a large variety of smoothies, freshly made on site.

French taste in farmland beauty

With its two locations in Lancaster, PA, Rachel's Cafe & Creperie gives you a taste of France in the middle of beautiful farmland in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The french-inspired creperie is truly a happy place and worth visiting if you find yourself in Lancaster, PA.

Covid precautions: At both locations, they practice social distancing, and follow all CDC guidelines. If you have been fully vaccinated, wearing a face mask is optional. They can only accommodate groups of 6 people or less at a single table. And they also ask that if you are experiencing any potential symptoms of Covid-19, that you call and place your order for contactless take-out rather than dining in.

Their downtown location is at 201 W Walnut St, Lancaster, PA 17603, and the Manheim Township restaurant is located at 608 Richmond Drive, Suite 109, Lancaster PA 17601.
