(ATLANTA, Ga.) If it’s one thing you know about Atlanta, you know it’s abundant in rooftop and patio dining experiences with amazing views.

Summer is in full effect and dining outside allows customers to remain socially distant while enjoying good weather, good food and good times.

If you’re in search of a good patio or rooftop to dine this summer, I’ve gathered a quick list of “must-visits.” Check them out below:

Anis Cafe & Bistro

Located in Buckhead, this restaurant brings a taste of Provence to the city. Nestled on a side street, this is the perfect place to enjoy a sunny day with a glass of wine and mussels or Croque monsieur for lunch. The patio can be described as “charming” with its collection of potted plants that add to the ambiance.

Shake Shack

Hear me out, you can’t go wrong with traditional American dining from time to time. The Shake Shack in Buckhead has a huge rooftop that overlooks the city and makes for the perfect view while enjoying a classic burger, fries or a milkshake. Usually, the line is wrapped out the door, so I recommend going outside of lunch hours to avoid the crowd.

Leon’s Full Service

Another American restaurant with classic dishes is located in Decatur and is perfect for a lunch date with friends or family. Leon’s “it” factor is that it’s modeled after a full-service car garage, perfect for some fun and vintage photo ops after you’re done eating or while you’re snacking on appetizers like hummus or french fries. The restaurant has two patios to choose from for seating, but they do fill up fast so be sure to get there early.

Nine Mile Station

If you want to enjoy a fine dining experience with a view of the city’s skyline, Nine Mile Station is the place to be. Located on top of Ponce City Market, you can enjoy a range of food from charcuterie boards to Alaskan cod. Order a nice cocktail or glass of wine while you take in the views of downtown Atlanta.

Barcelona Wine Bar

With locations in both Inman Park and near Howell Mill, Barcelona features secluded patios and a vast selection of wine. A taste of Spain in the city, you can enjoy lots of tapas and paella while you sit and enjoy a relaxing day or evening with friends and family.
