HOUSTON - In Houston, you can find many places where you can get a trim, but it can be a challenge to find a truly great barbershop. Here is our guide for your next buzz.

1. Hourani’s Barbershop

12121 Westheimer Rd Unit 103 Houston, TX 77077

“I've gone to Hourani's a couple times now and I have loved the service. I usually book an appointment ahead of time and there has been no waiting. The shop itself is done really nicely, has a sleek high end feel. It's squeaky clean inside and everyone on staff wears a mask. There are refreshments and a seating area as well.

Now to the important part. Attention to detail with the cut is superb. Literally a perfect cut every time. I am picky with my hair and this place has not disappointed me at all. I highly recommend Hourani's.” - Branton J. on Yelp

2. Chophouse Barber Company

6715 Weslayan St Houston, TX 77005

“These boys know what they're doing. I walked in and felt like I knew these guys for a long time.

Jose cut my hair and even though he mentioned that he was just starting out, he did an amazing job. He definitely has a knack for this. I could tell they were about their business, cause they were mentioning hair cutting techniques I never even thought about lol. Truly felt like they treated each haircut as a work of art.

Jonathan was knowledgeable as well, helping Jose with a certain technique. The shop was very well maintained and clean. I saw them implement safety measures in terms of Covid, so that's good to know. Definitely going back here to get cut up.” - Rafi A. on Yelp

3. Ultimate Grooming Lounge

3870 S Gessner Houston, TX 77063

“Houston’s newest and hottest upscale barber lounge. We offer a variety of different men’s and woman’s haircuts and dreadlock services. Come enjoy professional service in a professional and upscale environment.” - about the business on Yelp

4. Style N Image Hair Studio

17111 Keith Harrow Blvd Ste G Houston, TX 77084

“Although this is a men's barber place & I am a woman, I decided to give them a try. I always had my short hair cut at a salon that charged me a considerable amount for a woman's cut but my hair style is like a short man's style which is less expensive. All I need is the clippers used, the nape shaved up & side burns shaped. I found this shop to be clean & Marcellus did a great job! Give them a try even if you're a woman!” - Brenda R. on Yelp

5. Diesel Barbershop

3351 Westpark Dr Houston, TX 77005

“First of all the place is cool. Nice environment, visuals, games, staff, etc. I was a walk-in and was offered a drink. That in and of itself was unexpected but even so, I assumed it would be water. Nope, I was offered a beer!

My barber, Dawn, was cool AF. She chatted me up during the cut and did a good job by the way. I was content at the point but oh no, we weren't done. She leaned the chair back and washed my hair. Now, I've gotten my hair cut hundreds of times before but I've never had a barber give it a wash.

It provided a nice refreshing feeling and washed away most of the loose hair. Now I was more than content but oh no, we still weren't done. She then used a massager on my neck, back, and shoulders. I was sold. Walked out feeling like I had treated myself.” - Justin D. on Yelp

And there you have it! A list of five barbershops to visit for your new trim. If you’d like to pay one (or more) of them a visit, be sure to follow the health guidelines to keep you and everyone safe in this time of the pandemic.
