HOUSTON — Annyeong haseyo! Since the emergence of Hallyu, the Korean wave that brought along K-Pop and K-Dramas, there have been many Korean restaurants popping up everywhere, and Houston is no exception. These new restaurants can be a refreshing option for those who are bored with the repetitive menus that accompany their lunch and dinner.

However, with so many to choose from, how do we know which one is the best? Well, our answer lands on Korea Garden Restaurant. Below we've compiled a list of five reasons why this restaurant is the best Korean restaurant in Houston. Gajayo! Let's go!

1. Simply good, fresh food

This Korean restaurant offers you food fresh from the oven. In addition to being fresh, the food served here is also really delicious.

As Cynthia J. wrote in her review on Yelp "...I enjoyed dining here because service is timely and not obtrusive. Food comes out hot and tasty, very fresh.

"We have ordered the usual gambit, and bulgogi, and rice and veggie hot stone dish. I love the steamed rice here, the kimchi, and the cold side pickles. Very mouth watering in fact..."

2. Traditional decor and relaxed atmosphere

Another reason visitors come to this restaurant is the traditional Korean decoration it has and the calm atmosphere it offers. These make anyone visiting the restaurant feel comfortable to enjoy the meals served.

Margaret P. wrote her comments about the restaurant on Yelp.com, saying: "This place has some of the most authentic Korean food (I lived in Korea for two years) that I've ever had in Texas! Also, the decor is very traditional Korean and the atmosphere is calm and quiet..."

3. Good service and no reservation needed

Having good food is meaningless without offering good service, and this Korean restaurant has precisely that, plus no reservation is needed. Having all that gives you satisfied customers, like Julie Ann N.

Julie wrote on Yelp that she "came here with my family and some friends on Labor Day with no reservations and no wait. Service was good. We stayed here for about 2 plus hours just eating and catching up. The servers were in no rush to kick us out and kept coming to check on us..."

4. Reasonable price with good portion size

In addition to the delicious dishes, eye-catching decoration, and good service, another reason people feel happy to come to this restaurant is the reasonable price it has that is accompanied by good portion size.

One of the restaurant's visitors, Brandon V. felt satisfied with the restaurant and wrote his review at Yelp.com. According to him, Korea Garden is "one of the best Korean BBQ places in Houston, if not the best. Prices are reasonable with good portion sizes. Side dishes are always on point, with the Kim Chi being the star of the show here. If you go to Korea Town, it is a must stop!"

5. Amiable owner and accomodating staff

Last but not least on this list are their friendly owner and accomodating staff. It's no doubt that If visitors welcomed the staff of the restaurant, and in this case even by the owner, then they have no reason to find another restaurant. Y'know, if it ain't broken, don't fix it.

Brandon V., for example, commented on Yelp, saying: "one of the best Korean BBQ places in Houston, if not the best. Prices are reasonable with good portion sizes. Side dishes are always on point, with the Kim Chi being the star of the show here. If you go to Korea Town, it is a must stop!"

Ottoke? Do you think Korea Garden is the best Korean restaurant in town? If you think so, they are open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at 9501 Long Point Rd. Geogiseo bwayo! See you there!
