As humans, we do the wildest things to get our point across or to show people the bigger picture whether it is showing them through writing or showing them physically.
There are a million things people agree and disagree on but the safety of our children is something that comes first. Texas mother Casey Garcia decide that she wanted to make an example to her daughter's middle school.
Casey wanted to show the school that more security is needed within her daughter's school because anyone could walk in and do whatever they wanted.
This brave mother was able to spend a day at her daughter's school disguised as her daughter. She was able to sit in class, talk to the principal, and go to lunch without a hitch. In addition to making this happen Casey recorded everything and posted it on YouTube.
In an article from Fox 2 News called "Texas woman arrested for posing as 13-year-old daughter to prove point on school shootings" by Danielle Wallace went into detail about how this Texas mother accomplished her goal.
Casey Garcia stated "she put on fake tanner and dyed her hair to better resemble her teen daughter, "Julie." When she walked into the school, she wrote down her daughter’s ID number that she had memorized. She can be heard saying good morning to who she says was the principal."
Garcia continued
"I didn’t do this to get views. I didn’t do this to get likes. I didn’t do this so people could be mad at me and I can never walk around El Paso again."
Going this far to show that more security is needed goes to show that a lot of us are not being heard as parents and something needs to be done.
