Our family recently visited this Wisconsin Dells area attraction and it was a fun and relaxing way to spend some time up close and personal with the animals. Feeding the animals is lots of fun, and my teen and tween had a blast visiting the various creatures throughout the park. There are lots of opportunities to feed and pet, as well as to take photos with the different animals, and you’ll want to purchase lots of food to enjoy the experience as long as possible.

During our visit, we noticed that lines to visit the park could get long during the day during the peak summer season. I’d recommend visiting earlier in the day or later in the day if possible for smaller crowds.

Admission to the park is $14.00 for adults (ages 12 and up) and $10.00 for kids 3 to 11 years of age. It is free for children 2 and under to visit the Wisconsin Deer Park.

Food to feed the deer is available for purchase. You can purchase crackers for a few dollars per package when you pay admission. There are also multiple stands throughout the park where food for the animals can also be purchased. Guests are asked not to feed the deer or other animals food from outside the park, since ingredients may be harmful. The animals are on special diets and only food purchased from the park may be used.
