Taiwanese food is incredible, and Din Tai Fung does it perfectly.

If you go to the Westfield mall, check out their restaurant after a nice and long shopping trip and start off with some of their appetizers.

The cucumber salad is an absolute must, it's light, refreshing, and delicious. Next go for the Seaweed & Beancurd in a Vinegar Dressing which is crisp bean sprouts, smooth glass noodles, springy beancurd, and thin strips of seaweed tossed in our traditional vinegar dressing. A light touch of our signature Din Tai Fung chili oil gives this appetizer layers of flavor and texture.

One time after waiting over an hour for our order they gave us a free appetizer which was their Sweet & Sour Pork Baby Back Ribs and they were a complete 12/10. They're fresh, tender, and evenly coated with house-made sweet and sour sauce.

They also have a Fried Pork Chop that is fried to perfection and garnished with freshly ground coarse pepper. Golden on the outside, juicy on the inside. 10/10.

Dumplings:

Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao: The absolute best dumplings ever.

Each of our Xiao Long Bao is carefully weighed and folded by hand to achieve our signature Golden Ratio of 18 folds and stuffed with top-quality Kurobuta pork marinated in a blend of carefully-selected seasonings. Paired with the piquant aromas of fresh ginger and green onion, every bite is the perfect bite.

Kimchi & Kurobuta Pork Dumplings: 2nd best. Strong, rich flavor with a kick of spice.

Authentic Korean kimchi, chives, and glass noodles are finely chopped and folded into our savory Kurobuta pork filling. Fresh kimchi juice is rolled into the dough, giving them their signature orange hue.

Greens: AKA the best vegetables I've ever tasted in my entire life.

Sautéed String Beans with Garlic: A Din Tai Fung family favorite and my personal favorite, I could probably have 3 orders to myself.

Freshly-cut string beans, coated with minced garlic and tossed over high heat for a savory, umami-packed bite.
Soup: We always order at least one bowl of soup and the braised beef noodle soup is the best.

Braised Beef Noodle Soup: A rich and hearty traditional Taiwanese beef stew.

With house-made egg noodles and hearty flavors, our Braised Beef Soup is carefully cooked for hours to bring out its signature mildly spicy and aromatic flavors. Topped with blanched baby bok choy for a pop of color and crunch.
Entrees: Highly recommend getting a few and sharing.

Pork Chop Fried Rice: Delicious is in the details. This fried rice is incredible.

Perfectly seasoned and textured fried rice meets the irresistible aromas of fried eggs and freshly-chopped green onion. Topped with our signature Shanghainese-style fried pork cutlet that is crispy on the outside with a tender, juicy center.

Jidori Chicken Fried Noodles: These are to die for.

Skillfully tossed in a wok over an open flame with fresh vegetables and tender strips of premium Jidori chicken, our stir-fried noodles burst with umami flavor. Served with crunchy napa cabbage, tender spinach leaves, and green onion-infused oil.
For dessert, I highly recommend their Red Bean & Mochi Xiao Long Bao which is a Din Tai Fung classic.

Our velvety-smooth red bean paste folded into our signature Xiao Long Bao skin. A thin layer of mochi adds a satisfying, chewy texture.
This place will 100% not disappoint.
