I used to go to Joey's in Seattle all the time, it was the spot to go to for lunch or to grab a drink or two for dinner on top of a fancy appetizer.

When I heard that Joey's was coming to Los Angeles, I was pretty excited about it.

Wrapping the corner of 7th and S Flower St with the largest street level patio downtown Los Angeles, this space features a theatre kitchen, a stunning stone bartop and a custom wine wall in the lounge. The dining room showcases a large commissioned art piece by Los Angeles local, America Martin, an interior willow tree that provides an oasis within the city.
"You'll come for the food and drinks and stay to enjoy the friendly service and ambiance." - Layne Krienke, President of JOEYS

Their happy hour for Dine in: 3pm-6pm daily and Online: open - 4pm daily.

HAPPY HOUR DRINKS:

Real Peach Bellini, Super Nova Vodka Soda, Super Stoked Vodka Coke, Super Stoked Jack + Coke, Super Sonic Gin + Tonic, All Pints of Beer are $2 Off and All Glasses of Wine are $2 Off.

HAPPY HOUR FOOD:

Sushi Cone, Single Slider,Truffle Parmesan Fries, Gyoza, Roasted Corn Guacamole, Sliders Royale Duo, Hummus, Sliders Royale Trio, Tuna + Avocado Roll, Seared Salmon Sushi, Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Szechuan Tofu Lettuce Wraps, and Szechuan Prawn Lettuce Wraps.

They have a large wine and beer menu, their Sofia Brut Rosé from Monterey County is amazing, but I'm more of a cocktail person and I love their Real Peach Bellini or their Mezcal Drink with mezcal, grapefruit liqueur, lemon, grapefruit, cane syrup, and serranos.

Food:

For an appetizer I love their Ahi Tuna + Shrimp Cevichemexican aguachile dressing, avocado, red onion, cilantro, mint. Super refreshing and light.

I prefer their sushi for main dishes, the Seared Salmon Sushi (osaka pressed, fire torched salmon, umami sauce, shaved serrano peppers) is delicious.

Tuna + Avocado Roll with chili mayo, micro cilantro, tempura crunch, teriyaki glaze is super yummy too.

Baja Fish Tacos (two shrimp + fish tacos, guacamole, valentina’s, fries) is a must.

If you're looking for something a little bit more hearty I recommend their Sake Glazed Chilean Sea Bass with wok-fired vegetables, gold potatoes, dashi broth.

They also have some great steak options, the JOEY Classic Steak is 7 oz USDA prime sirloin, fully loaded crispy mashed potatoes, with asparagus.

Lastly, finish your meal off with their delicious Molten Chocolate Cake, fresh raspberries, tahitian vanilla ice cream.
