Calling all daredevils! Experience all the fun of a Wisconsin Dells Zip Line. Now is your chance to soar through the treetops over Lost Canyon on the Wilderness Resort's fabulous new Wilderness Canyon Zip Line Canopy Tour.
Watch the canyon pass below your feet as you take the plunge over 60 feet on a ride that spans 6 towers and 8+ football fields in length. Thrill seekers love the adrenaline rush of watching the canyon pass below their feet. My family spotted deer, a bobcat and lots of spectacular views during their ride.
My adventurous teen and tween tackled the zipline tour as part of our recent Wisconsin Dells vacation and it was one of the top highlights of the trip. Knowledgeable staff helped them get ready and in appropriate gear before heading up the first tower and off to their hour long adventure. It definitely was a memory making trip and an amazing way to take in the beautiful scenery of the Wisconsin Dells area.
Pictures of the zipliners in action are available for purchase and are an excellent souvenir of the adventure. Purchase them after the adventure at the tour office and you can order individual prints, or buy a digital file with all the photos taken during the tour. Additional souvenirs such as t-shirts are also available.
Requirements for the Wilderness Canyon Zip Line Canopy Tour
Because of the adventurous nature of this attraction, there are a few requirements to know before making your reservation.
- All riders must weigh between 70lbs minimum and maximum of 270lbs. The maximum weight of 270 is strictly enforced.
- Participants should be in good health and free of neck or back injuries.
- Guests will be zipping 5 different zip lines and will go on distances of 314 feet – 907 feet. There are lots of stairs and participants will need to be able bodied enough to be able to handle them on their own.
- There is no tandem zip lining allowed nor will you be going upside down zip lining.
- All riders must wear closed heel and closed toe shoes which secure at the heel. Flip flops and slides may not be worn. The attraction does have Croc style shoes available for purchase for a nominal fee. We purchased a pair for my 12 year old for $10.
- Wet swimwear is not permitted
- If participants are under 18 years of age, a parent/legal guardian must be present at the start of each tour and a waiver of release will need to be signed as well prior to the minor zip lining. Forms are available upon arrival at the Zip Line Tour Registration Office.

Daytime tours are $45 for Wilderness Resort guests and $55 for non-registered guests. Night time tours are held at 9:30 p.m. and are $55 for Wilderness Resort guests and $65 for non-registered guests. Advance reservations are required and guests who are not on time may have their group leave without them.
