Downtown Northville presents Art & Acts Festival for the 11th year now. Fine artisans and crafters from all over the country come together to showcase their work; as here at this festival you'll experience art displayed, musical acts, literary events, children's activieies, and more. Along with fun things to do that the festival brings, there are also great restaurants, shops and landmarks along the festival path to explore.
Arts & Acts Festival is a three-day festival featuring over 100 unique artisans and crafters in three fairs - Art in the Sun, Maker's Mart and Young Artist Juried Art Fair. This weekend there will also be a showcase of musical performances on two different outdoor stages, food vendors and so much more to discover. Click here to find out more on what food vendors will be in attendance. Performances will be in a new location which can be found along West Cady Street in Northville. Family-friendly activities are on the itinerary too and include the annual Short on Words: A Poetry and Short Story Event, Northville Art House Chalk Festival, and the new Paws with Applause Northville Dog Show and Virtual Photo Contest.
Art in the Sun
Art in the Sun showcases contemporary art by fine artists from Michigan and around the country competing for monetary awards based on original artwork and booth presentation.
Maker's Mart
Maker’s Mart showcases artisans selling handcrafted work from crochet to stained glass, soap to handmade bags, and home décor to clothing. There really is an interest for all here with this array of options.
Young Artist Juried Art Fair
Young Artist Juried Art Fair showcases the creative talents of young artists in grades 2 – 12, who sell original artwork and reproductions. This fair is the perfect platform to gain exposure in the art industry, draw inspiration from other artists and artworks, and get to know people in the local art community.
Arts & Acts Festival is a free event presented by Northville Art House.
