1. The Rec and Roll Mobile Recreation Program

- June 8: Wesley Jones Park
- June 15: Homosassa Area Recreation Park
- June 22: Floral Park

What: The Citrus County Parks and Recreation now offers a rotating mobile recreation program! Every Tuesday, they'll be bringing games and sports equipment to local parks. Participants will enjoy an evening of outdoor fun. Possible games for visitors to play include, Connect 4 and chess, cornhole, and Jenga. Other activities visitors might experience include three-legged races, hopscotch, hula hooping Contests, kickball, soccer, flag football, 4 square, basketball, and tennis.
This event runs April through October and all ages are invited to attend!

2. 2nd Sunday Sunset Drum Circle
- When: Sun., June 13
- Where: Fort Island Gulf Beach, 16000 W Fort Island Trail, Crystal River, at the last picnic shelter on the beach
- Cost: Free
- Time: 6 pm
What: Ready to get your drum on? The 2nd Sunday Drum Circle meets at the Fort Island Gulf Beach every second Sunday of the month (weather permitting). Don't have your own drum? No worries, extra instruments are available. This Citrus County event near Inverness, FL, is fun for the whole family! Amenities include restrooms and covered pavilions. Note: Alcohol, smoking, and pets are not allowed. But bring a chair, drink, and drum (if you have one), and make some music!
