Sacramento, Calif -- By Robert J Hansen

A vigil was held for Breonna Taylor, who would have turned 28 that day, by local activists at the Capital Rose Garden on Saturday.

Sacramento police officers where at the rose garden before any of the activists arrived.

Officers well outnumbered the gatherers and monitored the vigil the entire time supporters were there, setting flowers, candles and artwork on a bench near the rose garden.

Supporters of Breonna Taylor were angry about the amount police presence on the same day an alt-right rally is being held and some of the female activists spoke out to the crowd one by one.

"We are all standing here being terrorized and feeling afraid," the first supporter said. "How can there be justice when innocent people are made to feel terrorize."

Another supporter said she was disappointed in how many people came to support Breonna.

"I am disappointed that you are not here to support and protect the black women that are organizing this," she said. "Do we need to wait until another black women does for you guys to get out here."

She said Breonna still doesn't have justice.

"Look at these fucking cops all surrounding us. They said they are here for a weddin. But no, they are here for the black people in this group," the supporter said.
