CLEVELAND — Greetings, Clevelanders! Cleveland is not the land of the scorching sun and sand dunes that is the Middle East. However, in the desert of fast-food chains that calls itself Cleveland, we can find oases of Middle Eastern delicacies. Lucky for you that you don’t have to look hard for them. Let’s go!

  1. Taza A Lebanese Grill

Taza A Lebanese Grill has been serving Clevelanders since its establishment in 2005. Located at 1400 W 6th St, Cleveland, they are ready to accommodate you from Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9.30 p.m., on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10.30 p.m., and on Sundays from 12.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

For you who crave authentic Lebanese delicacies such as kibbie nayyeh, shawarma, kafta, shish grill, this place doesn’t disappoint.

2. Kifaya’s Kitchen

Located at 3650 W 117th St, Cleveland, Kifaya’s Kitchen is ready to serve you from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. Specializing in African and Middle-Eastern food. Their menus are divided into two major categories: baris iyo (rice-based) and basto iyo (pasta-based).

3. Momo’s Kebab

Located at 2199 Lee Rd, Cleveland Heights, Momo’s Kebab is open every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from Wednesday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. They specialize in Moroccan and Mediterranean food such as beef tagine, Mediterranean salad, Kefta, and many more.

Momo’s Kebab is temporarily closed but will be back open on June 10. So, note that down, and don’t miss their re-opening!
