HOUSTON — The University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) is teaming with Curative to provide free COVID-19 PCR testing and immunizations in Clear Lake every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Both services are available to students, teachers, staff, and the public at the university's Bay Area Boulevard's Delta Building, room 139. Vaccines are given indoors, and testing is done at an outdoor kiosk.
Curative, a public health service startup, collaborates with communities to provide COVID-19 testing and immunizations on a large scale and other vital services. Oral-fluid swab testing will be available at UHCL as an alternative to nasopharyngeal or brain swabs in COVID-19 testing.

The COVID-19 PCR testing is also available at UH-Clear Lake on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., near the Delta Building, with the following details:
• Self-collected swab test with 1-2 days turnaround
• No cost to individuals (will bill to insurance if one is provided)
• No insurance required
• Open to the public
• Free parking near the Delta Building
• The results of the tests are available in 1-2 days. Proof of vaccination card is provided with second vaccine doses, if applicable.
