HOUSTON — Julep will host their 5th annual Oyster Shucking Contest which will take place on Monday, June 14, starting from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m at their location on 1919 Washington Ave.

This Oyster Shucking competition is open to the pros, chefs, oyster aficionados, and guests. The winner of this competition will be awarded prizes from Williams Sonoma and become the 2021 Oyster Shucking Champ.

There is no extra cost for the evening's festivities, and spectators will not only be allowed to witness the competition in person but also enjoy $1 oysters all night long. They will be fresh oysters and not the ones that used in the contest. Cocktail specials are available from the evening's beverage partners, which can be enjoyed for just an hour starting from 5 p.m.
