I am shaking as I write this. I had hoped this day would come. I had dreamed of it. And now, it is here. Hamilton is coming to Reno!!!!!
Yes, all of those exclamation marks are necessary. If you are any sort of Broadway nerd, you know why. Because. It. Is. Hamilton. And you know it is as amazing as everyone says it is. And you know it is hard to get tickets to this show for most people. But now, it is our turn. Hamilton is coming to the Biggest Little City and the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts is bringing Broadway Back to Reno.
It has been a long stretch of waiting and missing musicals. Going dark for any musical or play is difficult and COVID basically took out the 25th Anniversary Season last year. But now, rejoice! Broadway is back!
As I watched the video of the announcement of the 2021-2022 season, you know, and I know, I cried. Bam, right away it’s Hamilton. How major. What a comeback! Reno is on the map with this, fam and we should all celebrate! You can watch the video announcement on the Pioneer Center's FaceBook Page.
So we know Hamilton is the opener but that is not all. Every single show coming to the Pioneer Center this season is stellar. There is something for everyone, and if you love Broadway, it is all for you.
