They've just announced the wineries, food trucks and farmers' market and artisan vendors.

Have you ever been to Brimfield? No?! Well, this is your chance. Wine, food, music, yard games? Hard to go wrong! Come on down, come on east, or west or north or south!

The 2nd Annual Pioneer Valley Wine Festival, organized by the Brimfield Winery & Cidery, is a friendly, wild and fun family event. This expo is back after skipping a year, and I don't have to tell you why!

I spoke with Kate Corriveau, co-owner along with her husband, Rusty, of Brimfield Auction Acres as well as the adjacent Brimfield Winery. She said,

"Crystal McGuire, Rusty, and I are the creators of the Pioneer Valley Wine Festival. We designed the Festival to spotlight the wonderful wineries, cideries, and even mead-makers of the Central/Western Massachusetts area. We are so happy to highlight them; there is so much camaraderie and support in this trade. All of the wineries are SOOO excited to show off their wines. We had to skip last year, of course, so we are excited about this comeback celebration."

This Festival has something for everyone. Of course, there's the fabulous wine-tasting. There'll be quality food trucks, mostly from the Pioneer Valley and some beyond! In addition, there will be live music, a farmers market, artisan booths, and... yard games! All in one cool place.

See the poster image above for the most updated information on who/what will be there. (But the organizers have not yet announced musical artists!) For updates, you can check their Facebook page here.

It's so down-to-earth that you are even welcome to bring a lawn chair and blankets. Get cozy! However, no drinks or food brought from outside -- this is, after all, a food and drink event! That means no coolers.

The wine-tasting tickets are $25 if you buy them in advance at Eventbrite here. The tickets are $30 at the gate but note that tickets are limited. It might be best to buy them in advance. To the wine fanatics out there: if you're curious, there are quite a few wineries around Brimfield! The organizers wanted me to note that the wine-tasting will be more spread out this year so it won't be crowded.

But if you're "only" planning to groove on musical vibes, eat yummy stuff, and shop at the farmers' market, it will just set you back a fiver!

FYI I live in Northampton, and the map said it would take me 48 minutes. I can do that! Let's meet there!
