So before I lived in New York City, I would visit all the time. And since I didn’t live here I either had to stay with friends or stay in a hotel. Last summer I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Sixty Hotel in Soho. I don’t typically stay at luxury hotels when I travel because I am normally on more of a budget, however this time I was at the hotel for a wedding! And let me tell you it was seriously the perfect location!

The Sixty Soho was so chic and sophisticated - if you are looking for a luxurious stay in New York City - look no further, because Sixty Soho is your place! In addition to gorgeous rooms, they’ve got a French restaurant and a rooftop cocktail bar with a spectacular view of the city that just can’t be beat!

They have several different types of rooms and suites available - I stayed in the King Suite and the Soho Thompson Loft. The king suite was honestly one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, with a spacious bathroom, a room separator, and a couch and widescreen tv - it was just perfect! And then of course my friend’s wedding took place in the Soho Thompson Loft and it was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t have imagined a cooler, chicer, and nicer hotel room.

Now I know the Thompson Loft definitely comes with a big price tag, but for an event or special occasion, it’s definitely worth it. It’s a gorgeous lofted apartment including 2 full bathrooms, plenty of seating and a tv on the first floor, a desk seating area, fireplace, king size bed and terrace on the second floor. The second floor terrace is probably my favorite part of this loft because it’s view just can’t be beat. I think the view from the terrace is even better than the view from their rooftop bar - and it’s totally private which is amazing!

Like I said this is a luxury hotel that absolutely comes with a luxury hotel price. So this is not a place I would be staying at routinely, as I definitely don’t have that kind of a budget, but like I said for a special event it’s incredible. The staff here were so nice and accommodating, anything you could have possibly needed they could provide for you. Overall my stay (and my friend’s wedding) was such a great experience, all thanks to Sixty Soho!
