I love going to a new coffee stand.
It is fun to explore the menu of coffee items and the treats or snacks they offer as well. This week, I had a chance to stop by another South Hill favorite, Blissful Blends Coffee. I have driven by this one regularly for the last couple of years and finally decided to stop in for a cup of coffee while running errands.
Oddly enough, the experience wasn't as blissful as I had hoped.
There were three cars total in the lines. And I sat for about 15 minutes before finally making it to the window. While I know this doesn't mean they are slow, as I have seen in other coffee stands people are ordering lots of drinks, this was not the case here.
Nevertheless, I made it to the window to see three baristas chatting away while making coffee. I ordered my latte and received it fairly quickly, so perhaps it was simply the car in front of me. I got my drink, paid, and was on my way.
The moment I took a drink I was transported to this little coffee shop I used to go to in college.
It was almost as if I was sitting in the little cafe drinking coffee and studying. While I could not pinpoint what it was exactly, it was a nice surprise. So, maybe it was worth the wait for my coffee and I think it might just be for you too.
The Details On Blissful Blends Coffee
Before you go out for your cup of coffee this week, here are a few of the details you need to know before you stop in at Blissful Blends Coffee.
Location
You can find Blissful Blends Coffee at the corner of Regal and east 44th Avenue on the South Hill. It is in the same parking lot as Ace Hardware. They have two drive-thru windows on each side of the stand and you can enter from several spots within the parking lot.
Hours
Their hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Saturday they are open 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. And, Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. These hours make it easy to stop in on the way to work or while you are out running errands as I did.
Menu
Blissful Blends Coffee has a pretty typical menu in terms of drinks. Nothing really stood out to me at all while I looked over the menu several times. What I did find interesting were the options of snacks and treats they had. There were quite a few vegan and keto options to grab with your coffee, which seemed unusual for a Spokane coffee stand.
Final Thoughts
In the end, I found that the coffee was good enough to bring me back to memories of my past. The treats sounded good enough that it might be worth another try. And, their location is convenient enough for most of the errands I run on the South Hill.
All of these factors might just make it worth your time to stop in, even if you will sit there for 15 minutes.
Most of all, they are another great local business to support. The coffee is good. The people are friendly. And I always look forward to supporting local coffee over the big-time coffee shops of the world. This is definitely a great place to support!
